What is in the kit

• Guided calculator, one question per screen, made for your phone. You answer at your own pace and do not need to know spreadsheets.
• Audio explanations on every screen, like a voice message: if you prefer listening, you don't need to read anything. In English, Spanish and Portuguese.
• 12 crafts, each with starter materials already set up: crochet and amigurumi, embroidery (hand and machine), jewellery making, candles, soap, polymer clay, resin, macramé, stationery, woodwork, sewing and knitting.
• The minimum price and the suggested price of each piece, counting materials, your hours, fixed costs, packaging, shipping, fees, tax and the profit margin you choose.
• Your data stays only on your device. You can save a copy and load it on another device whenever you like.

Don't see yours? The calculator works for any handmade work: pick the closest craft and replace the materials with your own. You can also request your craft in the suggestion box inside the kit: the next crafts will come from those requests, and whoever suggested it gets the renewed kit with their own suggestion included, at no extra cost.

How the pricing works

You choose your craft and answer, once, what your hour is worth, what you spend each month and what your fees are. Then, for each piece, you say how many hours it took and which materials you used. The calculator adds everything up and gives you the minimum price (below it you are paying to work) and the suggested price, with the profit margin you chose. The starter materials for each craft are examples: replace them with the prices you actually pay.
